| Ben Gac, RPT, is a member of the Piano Technician's Guild and a graduate of the highly acclaimed Chicago School for Piano Technology. Based in Oak Park, IL, Mr. Gac is pleased to offer services in piano tuning, repair, regulation and more for everyone in Chicago and beyond... An accomplished piano technician, Ben has achieved "Registered Piano Technician" status (RPT) in his profession; he has passed a series of rigorous examinations testing his ability of knowledge, tuning, repair, and regulation of the modern piano. As an RPT, he is more than just a "piano tuner"; he holds to an exceptionally high standard of quality, business practices, and ethics. In the summer of 2007 Ben joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops at the esteemed Tanglewood Music Festival in western Massachusetts. Mr. Gac now lives and works in the Chicagoland area and does work for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Ben also tunes at a number of colleges and universities in the Chicago area, including Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, and the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, IL. Ben is also a technician for Pianoforte Chicago, dealer of Fazioli pianos, and for Steinway Piano of Chicago, the largest Steinway piano dealer in Chicagoland. Ben regularly travels throughout all of Chicagoland to clients' homes, to churches, schools, universities and more to service pianos. Ben provides excellent, quality service for all pianos--grand and upright, new and old, good condition or not-so-good conditon--he services them all with skill and integrity! |
