Ben Gac, Registered Piano Technician, is a member of the Piano Technician's
Guild and a graduate of the highly acclaimed Chicago School for Piano
Technology. Ben is pleased to offer high quality services in piano tuning,
repair, regulation and more for everyone in Chicago and beyond.
An accomplished piano technician, Ben has achieved "Registered Piano
Technician" status (RPT) in his profession; he has passed a series of rigorous
examinations testing his ability of knowledge, tuning, repair, and regulation of
the modern piano. As an RPT, he is more than just a "piano tuner"; he holds
to an exceptionally high standard of quality, business practices, and ethics.
Along with his regular private clientele, Ben does work for a number of
distinguished venues. He services pianos for the Lyric Opera of Chicago,
Steinway Piano of Chicago, Pianoforte Chicago, and the Wheaton
Conservatory of Music. His tunings have been heard in performances
broadcasted on WFMT, Chicago’s classical music radio station, as well as at
Lollapalooza, Chicago's annual rock music festival. Ben has also spent time
studying at the Tanglewood Music Festival in western Massachusetts as a
piano technician intern.
Ben regularly travels throughout all of Chicagoland to his clients' homes, to
concert venues, churches, schools, universities and more to service all kinds
pianos. Ben is committed to providing the highest quality of service for your
